Dead Man Hollow Ghost Hunt for Ohio Women's Outdoor Adventures- The ghost of a peddler who was murdered in 1824 on his trek from Buena Vista to Upper Turkey Creek haunts the hollow called "Dead Man Hollow." Shadows, screams and whistling has been heard at his final resting place.

Started with a naturalist-led hike along the old roadway at night deep in the woodland of Shawnee State Forest. The group got a good taste of ghost hunting near the grave of the peddler. A strange laughter was heard in the forest and dowsing rods were strangely moving near the grave.
