In June of 1896, 23-year old Celia Rose poisoned her mama, daddy and big brother with Rough on Rats poison and cottage cheese. It happened on their farm on what is now Malabar Farm (Richland County) property. If you're looking to find this bad girl, folks have seen her ghost at the Lima State Hospital Cemetery in Allen County and on Broomfield Road in Lucas County.

The Mogadore Ghost, who was described as wearing a black robe and having long hair, hanging down the back from the
head and a black shawl rates up there with the Bad Girls of the Spirit World. If for no other reason, in the early 1900s she kept popping up out of nowhere and scaring the bejeebus out of the folks in what is now a suburb of Akron.

We cannot leave out wicked ol' Mary who murdered her sweetheart in cold blood at the Mae Hummel Covered Bridge in Sugar Grove. After carrying his severed head up the hillside, she killed herself too. On foggy nights, those who call out 'Mary, Mary, Mary' have seen the blue flame ball of her ghost coming down the lonely and forested hillside toward them along with a layer of fog.
